| What is the Team Dimensions Profile?
Successful team members don't do the same thing at the same time. They do the RIGHT thing at the RIGHT time! The Team Dimensions Profile assessment helps individuals work from their strengths by identifying their most natural contribution to the group problem solving process, while giving them added understanding and appreciation for the contribution of others. Team members learn that the five roles include: Creator , who generates ideas; Advancer , who promotes great ideas; Refiner , who challenges ideas; Executor , who manages implementation details through completion; and Flexer , who manages the group problem solving process and keeps it moving forward.
On a successful team, individuals perform these problem solving approaches and interact with one another to maximize their strengths. Tasks are defined and handed off from one role to another, allowing participants to focus on their strengths. Typically, tasks are handed off from the Creator to the Advancer, from the Advancer to the Refiner, and from the Refiner to the Executor. The Flexer steps in to fill gaps within the team. The utilization of this process creates efficiency and breakthrough performance .

Steps in the Virtual Train the Trainer: (Self-paced exercises with telephone coaching) - Conduct your first conference call with your Master Trainer to discuss the objectives for your upcoming training program. At this time you will also schedule your additional conference calls.
- Complete the Team Dimensions Profile Online Version and print the results on your printer (in color, if possible) and read your report.
- Conduct a phone discussion with your Master Trainer to discuss your Profile, the Team Dimensions Model, Innovation Approaches, Innovation Roles, and Janssens Change Model. Read Volume 2 of the Facilitator Kit in preparation for this call.
- Conduct a phone discussion with your Master Trainer to discuss the Innovation P.E.P. Cycle and Z Process and applications. Read Volume 2 of the Facilitator Kit in preparation for this call.
- Administer the Team Dimensions Profile on another person. Respond to the Facilitator Competency Quiz in Volume 1 of the Facilitator Kit.
- Review the Team Dimension Facilitator Kit and Power Point CD Rom and design a preliminary outline for your training session.
- Conduct a phone discussion with your Master Trainer to discuss your training plan, including exercises, activities, simulations, and reinforcement ideas for keeping the concepts alive in your organization. Additionally, if you currently utilize DiSC in your organization, your Master Trainer will assist you in integrating DiSC and the Team Development Process.
- Conduct a follow up telephone session with your Master Trainer to discuss your first training session.
