How many of your employees would be able to echo Al Pacino's words as he was discussing his excitement about an early job at Commentary Magazine, "When I came to work, I didn't just come to work. I leaped to work."? For most Managers, that would be music to our ears.

One tip for creating environments where engaged, energized, and committed employees will thrive is to identify each employee's priorities and goals and then give them opportunities to use their strengths to accomplish their goals. At the end of the day, each of us wants to feel understood, respected, appreciated and valued - satisfaction comes from knowing we have contributed our best and made a difference.
